The Chattanooga Heart Institute

Renovations across the third and fourth floors of Chattanooga Heart Institute transformed more than 38,000 SF into a modern, patient-focused cardiac care environment. The comprehensive upgrades improved clinical workflows, patient circulation, and staff support spaces while creating a cohesive setting for a wide range of cardiovascular services.

The renovated clinical spaces include more than 60 patient exam rooms, physician offices, nurses’ stations, and specialized testing and treatment rooms for Holter monitoring, pacemaker services, arrhythmia care, and Coumadin management. The fourth-floor renovation also incorporated dedicated spaces for the Martin Cardiac Amyloid Center, including exam rooms, an educator’s office, and an education room supporting specialized care for TAVR and amyloid patients.

Both floors feature reconfigured reception and waiting areas, custom reception casework, updated finishes, lighting, and clinical support spaces designed to enhance the patient experience and support efficient daily operations. Additional improvements included upgraded restrooms, administrative offices, staff amenities, and building systems throughout the renovated areas.

Together, the renovations created an integrated cardiac care environment that supports Chattanooga Heart Institute’s commitment to specialized cardiovascular treatment, patient education, and quality care.
