This project involved the thoughtful renovation of an existing commercial office building and recording studio, originally designed by renowned architect Earl Swensson for his firm’s own offices.
The scope included comprehensive finish upgrades throughout floors 2 through 4, revitalizing the interiors while preserving the architectural integrity of the original design. The 5th floor underwent a strategic reconfiguration to better serve the evolving needs of the client, featuring the addition of a modern kitchen, an ADA-compliant restroom, and a flexible multi-purpose room suitable for meetings, events, or collaborative work.
As part of the planning process, a detailed inventory and assessment of existing furniture were conducted to support space planning efforts. This analysis informed recommendations for new furnishings tailored to the increased capacity and functionality of the expanded office environment. The result is a refreshed, accessible, and efficiently planned workplace that honors the building’s legacy while meeting contemporary standards.
